The beginning of the story introduces the setting, main characters, and starts to introduce the conflict.

As the conflict becomes more involved in the story, more actions from characters occur, building up.

​​Rising Action

Eventually the characters have to face the conflict. In the climax, they decide how they will solve their problem.

​​Climax

Falling action is the part of the story where we see what happens after the problem solves.
The resolution wraps up any other points in the story.

This is the beginning of the story.
It is where we learn about the characters, setting, and the main problems.
