Sum of Interior Angles for Regular Polygon = (n-2) 180

Sum of Exterior Angles for Any Polygon = 360

Quadrilateral

A quadrilateral can be considered ANY four sided figure. The sides and angles don't need to be congruent or have any certain pattern.

A quadrilateral is the GENERAL NAME for any four sided figure.

Parallelogram

Parallelograms are a specific "family" in the quadrilaterals where the opposite sides (top/bottom and left/right) are parallel to each other AND are congruent.

If you have 2 angles that are the same, triangles are similar.

If you have 2 sides that are proportional and the angle between them is congruent, triangles are similar.​

If you have 3 sides that are proportional, triangles are similar.​

SCALE FACTOR

Scale factor: The amount each side of a figure is multiplied by when the figure is proportionally enlarged or reduced in size.
