The hydraulic scale records weights in pounds or kilograms with a decimal.

For example: 74.2 pounds
Read: Seventy four POINT two pounds

Record the weight on the pounds line on the health check form.

Nothing goes on the ounces line.

Pediatric Scale

The pediatric scale records weights in pounds AND ounces with a colon.

For example: 2: 2.5
Read: Two pounds, two point five ounces

The colon separates ounces and pounds, so both lines should have a number in them.
