Photosynthesis

What is it?

Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants and other organisms use sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water to produce sugar and oxygen.

Let's watch a quick video about it!

In this step, the plants will absorb the sunlight and take in the water from the soil and the carbon dioxide from the air.

Step 2

In this step, the sun gives off energy in the form of light that the plants soak up!

Step 1

Finally, the plant produces oxygen, which is the very air we breathe!

Step 4

This step is when the plant begins to use the sunlight it absorbed to combine the carbon dioxide and the water to create glucose, aka sugar.
