Helots

• ​Age the age of 7 boys moved into military barracks.

• All male citizens entered military at 20 and served until the age of 60.

​Sparta: Education

Expectations: Emotionally and physically tough.

Rights: Education focused on making them physically strong to defend themselves. Family life was less important as there was a focus on military. Women could own property.
