Weathering is like nature's way of breaking down big rocks into smaller pieces over time. Imagine a big rock outside. Sunlight, rain, wind, and even ice can all work together to slowly wear away the rock. It's as if the rock is getting a bit crumbly.

It's like nature giving rocks a little makeover by breaking them into smaller bits.

Erosion is like nature's way of moving soil and rocks around. Imagine a little river or stream. When the water flows, it can pick up tiny bits of dirt and small pieces of rocks. It's like the water is giving them a little ride downstream. This moving and carrying away of dirt and rocks by the water is what we call erosion.
