​Action verbs will show ACTION or what a noun is DOING.

Juan ran down the hall.

Mrs. Pepelea told him to stop.

"To stop" is a verb form called infinitive.

Action Verbs

Helping verbs are verbs that help other verbs connect in a sentence.

Solomon will take the test.

We should use our notes to study.

Helping Verbs

Linking verbs will link the subject of a sentence to an adjective or another noun or pronoun.

Deku seems happy with students.
She is my student.

2. We had wished her luck the night before.

3. Yair was sad because he was going out of town during the meet.

5. The weather was too hot to do much though.

Adverbs will "modifiy" or describe a verb.
It will explain HOW something was done or answer when, where, and how often something was done.
