An in-text citation is the brief form of the reference that you include in the body of your work. It gives enough information to uniquely identify the source in your reference list. The brief form usually consists of:
last name of the author(s)
year of publication OR title
In-text citations

Words DIRECTLY from the text go in quotes
Cite the author's name and year published.
If the publish date or author is not given, you will write the title in its place.
The citation goes in parenthesis at the end of the sentence.
