In the beginning, we use media to communicate and share information. Access to media before was very limited. Thus it was only used if the purpose was urgent or important.
However, some of us do not exercise responsibility when using media since we lack an understanding of its purpose and functions. To be a media and information literate individual, one must understand the Diverse characteristics of media.
