​A new way to use ALLER

Using "Aller," we can talk about things that will take place in the near future, or le futur proche.

In english, you might say "I'm going to watch tv" ​to talk about the near future.

C'est le même en français! "Je vais regarder ​la télé"

​A new way to use ALLER

To use le futur proche, you need to conjugate "aller" and follow it with an infinitive verb. ​

I'm going to watch tv

Je vais regarder ​la télé

​

Our conjugation of "aller" is vais​, followed by the infinitive verb of the action being completed in the future​ (this is called a dual-verb sentence structure)
