keupayaan otot atau sekumpulan otot melakukan penguncupan secara berterusan untuk mengatasi rintangan dalam jangka masa yang panjang. Atlet atau individu yang mempunyai daya tahan otot yang baik boleh mengelakkan kecederaan semasa bekerja, bermain dan boleh mencapai prestasi yang cemerlang dalam sukan.
