States Of Matter
There are three states of matter which are solid, liquid, and gas.

Solid
A solid is a type of matter that never changes shape. The particles of a solid are tightly packed together. A solid does not contain a lot of kinetic energy. Examples of a solid are an ice cube, book, table, chair, and a jar.

Liquid
A liquid is a state of matter that can take the shape of its container. Unlike a solid, the particles of a liquid, also known as atoms, can move around. Examples of liquid are water, orange juice, milk, apple juice, and chocolate milk.

Gas
A gas is a state of matter that has no volume. Gas has lower density than other states of matter. The particles of a gas can move and are spread apart more than a liquid. An example of a gas is steam.

Evaporation
Evaporation is when a liquid turns into vapor. The sun makes the liquid evaporate from the heat. if you leave a popsicle out long enough it'll dissapear because it evaporated!

Condensation
Condensation is when water vapor turns back into liquid water. It's basically the opposite of evaporation. An example is the clouds you may usually see every day!
