Coordinate Grid

Question 1 was (-5, 2) because the point goes 5 spots left (negative 5) and two spots up (positive 2)

Question 2 was Point L because it is on the plane at 3 spots to the right (positive 3) and 4 spots up (positive 4)

Question 3 was (-9, 5) because going to the LEFT of the x-axis gives a negative number (-9) and going UP the y-axis gives a positive number (5).

X comes first! Always start going from left to right. Left means negative, right means positive!

Y comes second! Continue from where you stopped on the x-axis. Either go up for a positive number or down for a negative number!
