An Equation is a mathematical sentence that shows that two expressions are equivalent using an equal sign.

An Equal sign shows that both sides of an equation have the same value.

Addition: add, sum, plus, more, make

Subtraction: take away, less, decrease, minus, difference

Multiplication: each, times, group of, multiply, product

Division: divided, share, equal groups, quotient

Equals: makes, total, same as, equivalent
