This year we’ve learned a lot of English, and now it’s time to put everything together in one exciting theme: planning the ultimate school trip abroad! 🎒✨ Imagine you and your classmates getting ready for a big adventure: choosing the destination, packing your bags, exploring new places, and remembering all the fun moments. 🗺️📸 From talking about what’s happening now to describing past experiences, making future plans, giving advice, and comparing places — everything we studied helps us communicate during this amazing trip. 🌆🚌 Let’s review all our grammar by living this journey together! 🌟

There is / There are 🏙️
Function: Describe places at the destination.
Structure: There is (not) + singular / There are (not) + plural
➡️ “There is a big park near our hostel 🌳.”
➡️ “There are many cool cafés in the city ☕.”

Present Simple – Verb BE 🧍♂️🗣️
Function: Give basic information.
Structure: am / is / are
➡️ “The trip is next week 📅.”
➡️ “We are very excited 😄.”

Present Simple (aff/neg/questions) 🔄
Function: Talk about routines, habits, general truths.
Structures:
Affirmative: Subject + base verb
Negative: Subject + don’t/doesn’t + base verb
Questions: Do/Does + subject + base verb?

➡️ “We don’t eat in the bus 🍔❌.”
➡️ “Do you like museums? 🏛️”

Adverbs of Frequency 🔁
Function: Show how often things happen.
Structure: Subject + adverb + verb (Except verb BE!)

Function: Talk about actions happening now or around now.
Structure: am/is/are (NOT) + verb-ing

Countable/Uncountable + Quantifiers 🍎💧
Function: Talk about quantities when preparing for the trip.
Structures:
Countable: a lot of, many, a few, some, any
Uncountable: a lot of, much (not in affirmatives), a little, some, any

➡️ “We don’t have any water 💧.”
➡️ “How many tickets do we need? 🎟️”

Past Simple (regular/irregular) ⏳📜
Function: Talk about completed actions on the trip.
Structures:
Affirmative: verb + -ed / irregular form
Negative: didn’t + base verb
Questions: Did + subject + base verb?

➡️ “We didn’t have time to try local food 🍲.”

Function: Describe actions in progress in the past.

Function: Compare places, activities, and experiences.
Structures:
Comparative: adj + -er / more + adj
Superlative: the + adj + -est / the most + adj

Irregulars: good/better/the best, bad/worse/the worst

Function: Plans, predictions, schedules.
WILL → predictions

GOING TO → intentions/plans
➡️ “We’re going to visit the aquarium 🐠.”
PRESENT CONTINUOUS → arrangements
➡️ “We are meeting at school at 7:30 🕢.”
PRESENT SIMPLE → timetables
➡️ “The bus leaves at 8:00 🚌.”

Can → possibility / permission
Could → Past possibility / permission
Have to / had to / Must → obligation
Don't/doesn't/didn't have to → Lack of obligation
Mustn't/Can't → Prohibition

Function: Life experiences + actions that continue to now.
Structures: have/has (not) + past participle

Zero Conditional → general rules, sure situations
Structure: If + present simple, present simple

First Conditional → real future possibilities, specific
Structure: If + present simple, will + base verb
