論証文とは、ある議論のあるテーマに対して賛成か反対の立場で書く複数のパラグラフからなるエッセイ。

Things to avoid

• Avoid slang, casual expressions, and overly informal words

• Don’t use vague words such as thing, stuff, very, really, so much.​

• Refrain from first-person (“I think,” “in my opinion”) and second-person (“you should”)—unless it’s specifically allowed.​

• Avoid overusing personal anecdotes.​

• Do not use passive voice excessively; active voice is usually clearer.​

• Never plagiarize—always paraphrase and cite your sources.
