A simple predicate is just the main verb, while a complete predicate includes the verb and all its modifiers, objects, or completers.

A simple predicate is the subject, while a complete predicate is the object.

A simple predicate is always at the beginning of a sentence, while a complete predicate is always at the end.

A simple predicate includes adjectives, while a complete predicate does not.

The subject is usually understood to be 'you'.

Imperative sentences often have only a predicate.

Only imperative sentences can have an understood subject.
