Healthy Food

Includes a variety of foods from different groups:

• Fruits

• Vegetables

• Grains (cereal) foods, including breads, rice, pasta, and noodles (preferably wholegrain or high cereal fiber types)

• Lean meat, fish, poultry, and/or alternatives

• Dairy products or fortified soy alternatives.

Unhealthy Food

include highly-processed items that are low in nutrients and high in empty calories. Some examples of unhealthy foods are:

1. Fast foods (such as hot chips, burgers, and pizzas)

2. Cakes and biscuits

3. Chocolate and sweets

4. Processed meat (such as bacon)

5. Snacks (such as chips)

6. Sugary drinks (such as sports, energy, and soft drinks)

7. Alcoholic drinks
