Two Digit Multiplication Strategies

When you are doing 2 digit multiplication you start on the bottom number and the number on the right, you multiply that by the number on the top right, then you put your answer on the bottom of the problem.

​When you have your first number in your answer then you take the number on the bottom right again and multiply that by the number on the top left and take your answer and put it left of the first answer.

​Once you have both of those numbers down then you go to the bottom number on the left and multiply that by the right number on the top, but before you put the answer down you need to put a 0 below the first two digits of the answer on the right, then to the left of that you need to put the number that you got multiplying.

​Once you have those there is one more step before you add them up...

​you need to multiply the bottom left number to the top left number and place that at the bottom of the answer on the left, then get ready to add the two answers up.

​Add the two answers together.
