Ratio Tables
We use ratio tables as a way to display the information of several ratios in an easy to read way. We can use the tables to plug in only the key numbers that we need and get rid of some of the extra stuff.

How do we find the missing values in the tables?
We need to look for some sort of pattern in the table in order to determine the missing spots. Using the example to the right I can determine that all the numbers in the left column are multiples of 7, and all the numbers in the right are multiples of 5.

Finding a pattern:
So if we know that 7 x 2 = 14, that means we need can find the first blank by multiplying by the 5 x 2 to get 10.
Same with the second blank. We know 7 x 9 = 63, so we would do 5 x 9 to get 45.

Another way to find missing numbers:
Another way I have found we can find missing numbers is finding a constant rate of change. For example, I have the first two numbers of each column given to me. I can see that if I take the number from column A and multiply it by 8, it gives me the answer for column B.
