• ​"Who" is a SUBJECT pronoun

  • ​In other words, it is used in place of he, she, I, you, we, or they

• ​"Whom" is an OBJECT pronoun

  • ​In other words, it is used in place of him, her, me, you, us, or them

​TRY ANSWERING THE QUESTION WITH A PERSONAL PRONOUN TO TEST WHETHER TO USE "WHO" OR "WHOM."

​Whose vs. Who's

• ​Be careful not to confuse the possessive pronoun "whose" with the contraction "who's."

• ​"Whose" shows who owns something.

• "​Who's" is a contraction for "who is."

​REMEMBER: Possessive pronouns NEVER have apostrophes!
