​Adding Fractions

Vocabulary

​Denominator= The max amount of parts in one whole. 2/3

​Numerator= The amount of part available. 2/3

​improper fraction= something that exceeds the whole 5/3 is above the whole

​proper fractions= is something like 1 2/3

​ADDING is the same

​Try adding the numerator together, this lesson is focused on improper fractions with like denominators so add the top but the bottom will stay the same.
