9.8 Methods of Voting

May use hand-marked paper ballots, machines that physically mark paper ballots, or direct recording electronic machines (DREs), depending on your location

Voters who are not able to vote in person on Election Day request a ballot in advance and fill it out at home. The ballot is returned either by mail or by dropping it off at a designated location

This method allows eligible citizens to cast their ballots before Election Day. Ballots are either cast in person at a polling place or marked at home on paper ballots and mailed back or deposited in a secure drop box.
