To compare things in English, we either add -er to an adjective or put "more" or "less" in front of the word

For example: better, taller, shorter

OR

more expensive, more useful, more handsome
less expensive, less useful, less handsome

In Spanish, we do something similar

To make comparisons in Spanish, we say "más" or "menos" and then add an adjective. To say that someone is TALLER than someone else, we say they are "más alto." To say that something is less expensive we say "menos caro." The -er ending that we have in English doesn't really exist in Spanish. Except for...
