​Water Sources
Desert: Water is hard to find, so people might dig wells, save rainwater, or bring water from other places. Wetland: There’s a lot of water in lakes, rivers, and swamps. People build canals to control it and keep areas from flooding.

Food Sources
Desert: People grow plants that don’t need much water, like cacti,
Wetland: People can fish, grow rice, and use the wet, rich soil to grow lots of plants.

Shelter and Homes
Desert: Houses are made with thick walls and small windows to stay cool and protect from the sun and sand.
Wetland: Homes are often on stilts or raised up to stay dry and avoid flooding.

Clothing
Desert: People wear light, loose clothing that covers them to stay cool and protect from the sun.
Wetland: People wear clothes that work in wet weather, like rain gear or lighter clothing for humidity.
