What is a Mixture ?
A mixture is matter made up of two or more substances that are combined physically (mixed together).
Substances in a mixture do not change or combine chemically.
Substances keep their own properties

A mixture where the different compounds and or elements are not UNIFORMLY mixed are called HETEROGENOUS mixture

A mixture where the elements or compounds are UNIFORMILY mixed it is said to be HOMOGENOUS
The different compounds or elements cannot be differentiated (seen).
SOLUTION, where a SOLUTE is dissolved in SOLVENT is a HOMOGENOUS MIXTURE
