Point of view is the standpoint from which a story is told. It can be told in

had been looking forward to 9th grade all summer. Why was I freaking out?

EXAMPLE OF THIRD PERSON LIMITED POINT OF VIEW:
Aiden stared at his test paper, panicking. He regretted that he hadn’t read
the book. He thought about what his parents would say. All around him,
other students were writing quickly.

pay off.

you, the reader. They may tell
you how to do something.

●The narrator uses the pronoun

EXAMPLE OF SECOND PERSON POINT OF VIEW:
First, you will separate the dirty laundry into two piles--one pile for clothes
with color and the other pile for white clothes. Next, you will put the clothes
in the washing machine. Finally, you will press start!
