PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE (Past Progressive Tense)
To express actions that were ongoing in the past.
FORMULATE:
(+) Subject + was/ were+ verb -ing + Object + …….)
( - ) Subject + was/were + not + verb –ing + object + …….)
( ? ) was/were + subject + verb-ing + object + …)
Example:
(+) I was playing football
( - ) I was not playing football
