SWBAT: describe how the total number of atoms does not

change in a chemical reaction and thus mass is conserved by

developing and using models.

- I will be able to discuss with my partner why the formulas follow the conservation of mass, and calculate the atoms per element to figure out whether they follow the law of conservation of mass.
