■ I graduated from Georgia State in 2014 with a

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology

■ I lived in Italy for 3 years, working as a long-term

substitute and volunteering as a Girl Scout leader

■ I was a student teacher at Tucker Middle until 2018,

when I graduated with my Master’s degree
in teaching middle level math & science!

I love art, and I enjoy drawing, painting, photography, and digital arts,

like creating designs, illustrations, & using Photoshop.

Consequences:

■ Violating the rules will result in losing a Class Dojo Point.

■ After 3 negative dojo points, you must serve a silent lunch.

■ After 3 silent lunches, the consequence is detention

(or in-class suspension if detention cannot be served).

■ Points can also be deducted for being late to class -

or unprepared (that means pencils, chromebooks, & folders)

Attendance Policy

■ Tardy policy - Students are to be in class on time with all required

materials every day.

■ If a student requests to return to locker for a forgotten item after

the bell, the student will lose a point for being unprepared.

■ I have to contact your parents if your attendance is a problem.

Makeup Work

■ All work is due at the beginning of class Friday. If you are

absent on Friday, it is due on Monday.

■ If you are out multiple days, it is due the following Friday.

■ It is YOUR responsibility to check the online calendar and

request work after any absences.

■ Nameless papers will be go in the no-name drawer.

Late Work

■ All work is due by the beginning of class on Friday.

■ Late work will lose 25 points per week.

■ DeKalb County Schools policy states that students can receive a

zero for any missing assignments - that means any assignments that
are not submitted on time.

REWARDS!!!

I will distribute one ticket at a time to students who show me
they know their stuff or they are willing to help others.

Tickets can be redeemed every Friday:

■ 3 Points – Small candy or prize

■ 5 Points – Medium candy or prize

■ 10 tickets – Large candy or prize

■ 15 tickets – Choice of 3 of the above, or a HW pass

■ 30 tickets – ALL OF THE ABOVE!

Class Helper

One student will be chosen each week to be

classroom helper.

If they perform all of their duties as helper,

they will be paid 1 point per day.

These points may be redeemed on Fridays.
