Am is only used with I

Examples:

• I am a boy.

• I am busy.

• I am going.

• I am happy.

Is is used with HE, SHE, IT, SINGULAR NOUNS, THIS/ THAT

Examples:

• She is not in the classroom.

• He is reading.

• It is not working.

• Bruno is a dog.

• This is my house.

• That is my guitar.

• Pari is hungry.

Are is used with WE, YOU, THEY, PLURAL NOUNS, THESE/ THOSE

Examples:

• We are a family.

• You are a good friend.

• They are dancing on the stage.

• Birds are flying in the sky.

• These are my books.

• Those are not mine.
