Combining Sentences - Using Semicolons

I never knew how much time it took to plan one booth. This is my first year to work on the committee.

I was in charge of finding volunteers who were willing to get dunked. Finding volunteers was an easy job for me.

Everyone wanted our principal, Mr. Smiley, to be a volunteer. He generously agreed.

Mrs. Turner also volunteered. I think the dunking booth will be a hit.

Marie said we should charge people one dollar for every ball they throw. Now, we need to decide on prizes for this event.

Laura suggested stuffed animals as prizes. Miguel thought stickers in the shape of a Huskie would be a good idea.
