Low Pressure System Weather
Air moves into a low pressure system. Since there is no where else for the air to go, it rises.
We know from our cloud formation notes that rising air leads to cloud formation.
Low pressure systems are associated with cloudy weather.

High Pressure System Weather
Air moves out of a high pressure system. As air moves away, air from above falls to take its place.
Instead of RISE, EXPAND, COOL, CONDENSE, we have FALL, COMPRESS, WARM, EVAPORATE.
High pressure systems are associated with clear skies.
