How to register to vote:

There are 4 ways to register:
1. Online
2. By mail
3. In person at the county registration office
4. At PennDOT when getting a driver's license

If you will not be living in your voting district on election day or you have an illness or disability that prevents you from going to your polling place, you can request an absentee ballot and mail in your ballot.

You can also vote by mail in PA by requesting a mail-in ballot.

There are strict deadlines for voting by mail that must be met in order for a mailed vote to count.

Voting in-person at your polling place

Polls are open from 7am to 8pm. Bring acceptable identification with you if it is your first time voting at a polling place - PA driver's license, non-driver ID, military or student ID. Also accepted - utility bill, paycheck, or bank statement with your name and address on it.
