SWBAT: Identify and describe gravitational, elastic, and

chemical potential energies

Build a Foldable

1. Gravitational potential energy
   2. Elastic potential energy
   3. Chemical potential energy

Look at the teacher to follow the instructions for foldable.
With your white paper, make 3 flaps, and cut them.
On the front of the 3 flaps, you will write the following.

Gravitational potential energy - the energy an object possesses due to its position.
Elastic potential energy - the energy stored in objects that can be stretched or compressed, such as a spring or rubber band.
Chemical potential energy - the energy stored in the chemical bonds of substances.
