OUTLINE:

BODY 1:

-Small business: first four year , mild fluctuations, hovered in a range of 28 to 35%

-2016: shoot back again to 50% after hitting a low of 30 % in 2015

-Medium companies: rose at faster pace, percentage surged to 50% in 2014

-Subsequently diped to 30% before a recovery exceeding 2014 figure.

Small businesses percentage went through mild fluctuations hovering in a range of 28 to 35 % in the first four years of the period. In 2016, after hitting of low of 30% in the previous year, its figure shoot back again to over 50%. Medium-sized business data rised at a faster pace when its percentage quickly surged to 50% in 2014. But it subsequently dipped back to 30% before a final recovery in 2016 which slightly exceeded 2014’s figures.

• Large companies: relatively stable in first 3 years: 80%

• 2015: significant fall-> 52%-> bounce back to 80% 

Large companies underwent a relatively stable period in term percentage of firms maintain social presence with its figures remaining at just under 80%. The 2015 recorded a significant fall to 52% in the proportion of large business having social media usage just to then bounced back again to nearly 8-% at the end of the period.

The graph below shows average carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions per person in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal between 1967 and 2007.

-1967: UK citizen: 11 metric tonnes, 3 tonners higher than Sweden

-Amount of Italy: 4.5-> 3 times higher than Portugal

-1977: gradual increases of around 2 tonnes

in Sweden, Italy and Portugal

In 1967, an average UK person discharged 11 metric tonnes of CO2 which was 3 metric tonnes higher than equivalent figure of Sweden. Meanwhile, Italy people were responsible for 4.5 metric tonnes of CO2 tripling the amount of Portugal. Over the next decade, there were gradual increases of around 2 metric tonnes of CO2 emission in Sweden, Italy and Portugal as opposed to UK where CO2 discharged had reached a plateau.

From that time onwards, each citizen in the UK took responsibility for less CO2 than before, with its figure being on a gradual decrease to under 9 tonnes in 2007. Similarly, after a minimal rise of about 1 tonne in the first decade, the amount of CO2 emitted in Sweden fell steadily to roughly 5 tonnes at the end of the period. In contrast, the other nations witnessed a sustained increase in CO2 emissions to nearly 6 and 8 tonnes in Portugal and Italy in 2007, respectively.
