Engineers have improved the energy efficiency of cars by designing better engines and tires.

In many communities, public transit systems provide an alternative to driving.

Biking and walking instead of driving (when possible) helps save energy and gives you fresh air and exercise! :-)

Energy conservation means reducing energy use.

- Walk to the store instead of getting a ride

- Unplug any appliances that are not in use (will still use energy when sitting)

- Turn off the lights when leaving a room

•Unplug Unused Electronics

Carefully unplug electronics when they’re
not in use.

•Switch to Energy Efficient Light Bulbs

Replacing the traditional light bulbs with energy
efficient ones.
