Having a cat creates a great atmosphere in the house; as well as being able to form bonds with us all, we would all greatly benefit from this furry animal residing in our home.
A study conducted within both cat homes and those without shows that these pet owners were over 20% higher than those without. 7 out of 10 pet owners felt more relaxed when owning a pet cat. Cat owners also have better heart health so will bring happiness and alleviate stress.
Cats provide the serotonin boost we need and can be loving creatures, much like Amos was.(RIP)

reason 1
companionship
4
Cats are extremely independent creatures, who will spend the majority of their time outside or chilling on the sofa; unlike dogs who will cause havoc and chaos.
They require little to no care, similar to caged animals and all food expenses will be paid myself.
In order to prevent a destructive cat, elements such as anti scratching tape and a cat tree will be put in place.
reason 2
independence

Luckily, I have a well-established position at Trinity Vet Centre; one of the best vets in the whole of Kent. This means I am able to get our cat looked after and know he's in the best hands, as well as being able to provide vet care for him.
All expenses would be paid for by myself, once again, and I also get a whopping 50% off so funding will not be an issue.
reason 3
vet care

You probably already know that cats like to hunt rodents. But they’re also natural insect killers, too, offering the kind of household protection that Venus flytraps promise but rarely deliver. Many cats thoroughly enjoy exterminating bugs such as house flies and spiders, almost like they’re being paid for it.
This means no more naughty birds singing at 5 am!
reason 4
pest control
7
Cats tend to meow when they’re hungry, but you rarely have to worry about being woken up or distracted from a task by a cat begging for attention. This makes them an ideal pet if you’re working from home or have youngsters napping during the day, for example.
So AJ, you won't be disturbed during work calls and Greg, you won't have to worry whilst watching Family Guy. (Unless the Cat wants a cuddle...)
reason 5
quiet pets

Both Molly and Sabian really would like to have a Cat in the house as it gets lonely and unfortunately, we no longer have our best friend, Amos, with us. A companion animal is just what we need in order to thrive and be at our happiest, due to the help with mental health and general living.
A cat would be a brilliant addition to our household and can bring many benefits to us all.
reason 6
because molly desperately wants a cat lol

Thank you for reading our PowerPoint, we hope you may both consider the options and will maybe consider what we have proposed.
