Affirmative Tenses:

Subject + VERB IN PAST + Complement

• Verbs conjugated in past can be regular (ed ending) or irregular
  

Negative Tenses:

Subject + AUXILIARY DID NOT (DIDN'T) + Verb in Simple Form + Complement

AUXILIARY DID + Subject + Verb in Simple Form + C + ?
