Electrical Circuit

1) energy source - provides the voltage (force that pushes electrons) and the current (rate of flow of electrons)

2) conductor - allows electrons to flow

3) load - uses the electrical energy

4) switch - controls the electric current

Basic Components

Open circuit - when the components of a circuit is incomplete, and there is no circuit.

Closed circuit - when the circuit forms a complete path and the electricity flows to the desired endpoint.
