Electrical Circuits

Electricity is the flow pf electric power or charge.

Electricity is present in nature, and humans generate it for heat, light, and power.

Electricity

It is a closed loop or path where the charged particles can move through a conductor, to a load by utilizing electromagnetic fields.

An electric current is the flow of electric charge in a circuit.

Electrical Circuit

1) energy source - provides the voltage (force that pushes electrons) and the current (rate of flow of electrons)

2) conductor - allows electrons to flow

3) load - uses the electrical energy

4) switch - controls the electric current

Basic Components

Open circuit - when the components of a circuit is incomplete, and there is no circuit.

Closed circuit - when the circuit forms a complete path and the electricity flows to the desired endpoint.
