Sound waves....
are caught by the pinna and directs them to the ear canal.
The ear canal yeets these waves to the tympanic membrane (TM).
The TM has the vibes and passes to the malleus, incus, and stapes.
The oval window catches the vibes from the stapes.

The oval window thinks the cochlea has the rizz because it makes all the noise.
It causes the fine hair cells to bend, which stimulates the auditory nerve.
The brain now knows what's up because the temporal lobe has had time to process.
