To find how many eggs would fill two cartons, we can add the group of 12 in one carton and the group of 12 in the other carton.

12 + 12 = 24

12 x 12 = 24

• 10 is an easy number to multiply , so I will split each egg carton into 2 groups, with 10 on one side and 2 on the other.
