​You have a body. Your body has parts. Some parts are big, like your legs and your back. Some parts are smaller. Some of the smaller parts are your eyes, ear, hands, nose, and mouth. You use these parts to see, hear, touch, smell, and taste.

• The smallest bone is stapes in ear.

• There are 16 tiny bones in their ears.

​The lungs bring oxygen into the body.

Our skeletal system is so important! Bones are hidden inside of our body and we can't see them, unless we use an x-ray machine like in this image!

When your bones break.

Your body heals broken bones. You can get a cast put on your broken bone to help your body heal.

These bones are called your spine and rib bones! The small bones along your spine is called your vertebrae. These are tiny joints that let you move your body! Like when you run, kick, jump, and sit up tall.
