What were those?
Sometimes we call them 'if clauses'. They describe the result of something that might happen (in the present or future) or might have happened but didn't (in the past) . They are made using different English verb tenses.
What are the four main kinds of conditionals?

We can use it to talk about things that are possible and/or likely in the future
If it rains later, we'll stay at home.
FIRST CONDITIONAL
It is used to talk about general truths and facts.

The passive voice
Remember that the sentence order in English is Subject - Verb - Object. In the passive voice, the object takes subject position, and the actual doer of the action becomes the agent. We always use the verb to be to form the PV, and in informal language we can use get.
The house was bought by the teacher.
She got caught stealing nail polish.
