Pirates arrive at a fork in the path. You will use communication skills to decide which tine (path) to take to head in the direction of the treasure chest.

You come to Résumé River and must decide which of three vines to use to cross the river.

The puzzle will require the use of a cell phone or laptop.

Your captain is waiting in the Tree of Mock Interviews, and they must give directions to you and your team to determine which direction to head next.

Select a captain from your

team and notify a career advisor before proceding. ​

One student is the captain (leader) and the other students are the pirates (illustrators). The captain must give directions to the pirates one step at a time. Each pirate can ask one clarifying question each throughout the entire activity.​

Example of Captain's Instructions: Draw a rectangle at the top of the page. Do not use phrases like, "Draw a house, car, tree, etc."

Example of Clarifying Question: Is the rectangle large or small?​

TEAMWORK

The Rope Bridge of Resources will help the pirates get to their next challenge if they can solve the puzzle to cross the bridge.
