Present Continuous

I am teaching a class.

My students are reading a text.

She is sleeping right now

Analyze them and try to discover the rule.​

​Subject + to be + verbing + object

We use present simple to talk about actions that are happening right now.

​

For example: You are reding this sentence.​

In the next slide you are going to write 3 sentences about these people.

Negative sentences are very similar to affirmative

In order to create a negative sentence you need to add "not" to the verb to be.

​She is not playing video games - She isn´t playing video games.

They are not working today - They aren´t working. ​

We change the order of the sentence

Remember, for questions we change the order of the sentence.

​You are practicing English - Are you practicing English?​

The first one is an affirmative sentence and the second one is a question.

She is speaking English - Is she speaking English?

They are listening to music - Are they listening to music?​
