The Median’s  in the middle,

You add, then divide for the Mean.

The Mode is the one you see the most

And the Range is the difference between.

​How to Find the Median (MIDDLE)

​

1. Order the numbers from least to greatest.

2. Mark off numbers from each end (for example: greatest and smallest) to find the center.

​

A. If you have one number in the center, this is your median.

B. If you have two numbers in the center, add them together and divide 

    by two to find the median.

The Mode is the one you that REPEATS the most.

​

5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7, 9, 10, 11, 15

Mode = 7​

​

You can have more than 1 mode: 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 9

Mode: 5, 6, & 7​

OR you can have NO mode:​​ 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 15

Mode: None​

Mean

1) Add ALL the numbers.

2) Divide by the number of number.

98, 67, 73, 75, 88, 92, 88, 100

​

98 + 67 + 73 + 75 + 88 + 92 + 88 + 100 = 681

​

Count how many numbers you added = 8

​

Divide 681 / 8 = ​85.125 (rounded = 85)

​
