Gaya Gesek ?
Gaya gesek adalah gaya yang bekerja akibat adanya sentuhan antara kedua permukaan benda. Gaya gesek ini terjadi karena permukaan kontak yang kasar saling mencegah adanya pergeseran.
Ada 2 macam Gaya Gesek :
Gaya gesek statis, gaya gesek yang bekerja ketika permukaan kontak tidak saling bergeser. Artinya, gaya gesek ini bekerja pada benda yang diberikan gaya luar (F) seperti gaya dorong atau tarik ke benda yang awalnya sedang diam hingga tepat akan bergerak.
Gaya gesek kinetis, gaya gesek yang bekerja ketika permukaan kontak saling bergeser. Berlawanan dengan gaya gesek statis, gaya gesek kinetis ini bekerja pada benda yang sedang bergerak.
