Is a ratio that compares 2 quantities in different units. finding rates shows how one thing changes in term of another thing. example : If I walk 5 miles in 2 hour, Do you think that I will walk the same miles in 3 hours if I keep the same pace ?

What is a unit rate?

Rate that has a denominator of 1.​
