Lets discover the companies that produce certain products and learn about to identify a stock ticker.

​Many of your favorite products are owned by companies that produce a variety of products. For example, Apple is a publically traded company that produces IPhones, Apple TVs, iPads, etc.

​

Publically traded means that you can buy and sell shares of the company through a public stock exchange.

​

​To do this, you need to know the company's ticker which is an abbreviation that identifies the company on the stock market.

​Tickers

​Some tickers are easy to guess like Apple's which is AAPL or Snapchat's which is SNAP.

​

​Others you'll have to look up like Coca-Cola's which is KO or Schlotzsky's which is BUNZ.

​

My favorite ticker is Ferrari's which is RACE.
